About The Position

We are currently seeking a Storeperson/Production Officer based at our
Rutherford branch to complete testing, inspections, and warehouse work. As a
part of our team, you will be involved in the testing, repairing and manufacture
or wire and synthetic ropes, chains, and height safety equipment in line with
quality assurance guidelines. You will perform warehouse duties as required
including receiving, picking, dispatch and delivery of products.

contribute by ensuring our customers’ orders are manufactured, tested,
processed, and handled in the most timely and efficient manner whilst following
the Bunzl company policies & procedures. You will possess strong verbal and
written communication skills as well as strong literacy and numeracy ability.
Our team is looking for an exceptional team player who is punctual, reliable and
prides themselves on being attentive to detail, but can also work autonomously
when required.

Requirements

• A valid Forklift Licence
• A valid Driver's Licence
• A passion for customer satisfaction and strong interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

• Lifting & Rigging industry knowledge or experience
• Warehousing and distribution knowledge experience

Responsibilities

• Operation of test machines, presses, and other machinery
• Ensuring accurate documentation and records
• Liaising with customers regarding testing and repair works
• Regular communication with internal staff
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment at all times
• Warehouse duties including forklift operation
