About The Position

As a Storekeeper, you play an important role in ensuring uninterrupted manufacturing operations by efficiently managing the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials and spare parts. Your responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventory records, preventing stock discrepancies, and upholding safety and compliance standards in material handling. Your meticulous attention to details and proactive coordination with various departments are essential for sustaining operational efficiency and supporting maintenance activities.

Requirements

• 3+ Years in inventory management, receiving operations or related field.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Forklift Operation certifications and familiarity with safety regulations for handling hazardous materials are a plus.
• Computer skills and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Verify the accuracy of incoming shipments, inspect for damage, and report any issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, organize and store items systematically, and update inventory systems regularly.
• Conduct regular cycle counts, reconcile inventory records, and participate in audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Ensure timely availability of materials by coordination with relevant departments and resolving any delivery issues.
• Store materials safely, maintain a clean storeroom, and ensure all materials are stored according to company policies and regulatory standards.
• Define and control minimum and maximum inventory levels for materials and parts based on historical usage data, lead times, and production requirements.
