Requirements

Responsibilities

• Prepare requisitions for stock replacement, emergency purchases, and authorization purchases using the state's computerized system.
• Check quality and quantity of commodities, supplies, and equipment received to verify they conform to purchase specifications.
• Prepare receiving reports and monitor the maintenance of balance and location records.
• Monitor inventory levels of paper, print products, and office supplies.
• Participate in the semi-annual inventory of land, buildings, equipment, and other assets under the property control program.
• Develop efficient storage methods for allocation of storage assignments upon receipt of goods.
• Arrange transportation for items to be shipped, including preparation of shipping documents and operation of materials handling equipment.
