About The Position

We are looking for a team member who shares this belief and is ready to use their customer service skills to assist our furry customers and their humans in finding the right food, products, and answers to their questions. As a part of our team, you will help create the best store experience for our guests.

Requirements

• Support each other by acting as back-up when extra help is needed.
• Be knowledgeable about animals and our products to provide outstanding neighborly service.
• Be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Candidates must pass a drug screening (in applicable states) and be 16 years or older.

• Perform walk-in nail trimming services to give our guests the best store experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a positive, outgoing, 'ready-to-help' attitude.
• Help customers find specific products, offering recommendations on merchandise based on their needs.
• Accept and process orders, operate the POS register and resolve returns issues.
• Promote special sales, offers and awareness of our rewards program.
• Manage inventory by stocking and cataloging products, including inputting data into computer systems.
• Help pet parents navigate the self-wash stations and explain the washing process.
• Stock the bathing supply caddies.
