About The Position

As the full-time Store Team Leader, you are considered the CEO of your store. This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, focusing on maximizing daily operations and driving business success. You will be responsible for developing a strong team through effective coaching and training, making strategic decisions, and consistently ensuring the store meets AEO Brand Standards. The position emphasizes bringing your authentic self to work every day.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales by maximizing overall store productivity and building guest loyalty through a best-in-class guest experience.
  • Create, manage, and own your store's business plan to meet KPI goals.
  • Analyze reporting and daily sales trends to make real-time, innovative business decisions to achieve store financial goals.
  • Recruit, hire, and retain a high-performing team.
  • Advocate for your team's development, encourage internal opportunities, and maintain a succession plan for associates.
  • Develop store leadership through leadership development training, performance feedback, individual development plans, and annual performance reviews.
  • Champion a culture of teamwork and recognition by establishing and communicating goals, holding the team accountable to brand standards, and celebrating outstanding performance.
  • Ensure the store consistently maintains AEO Brand Visual Standards by owning all visual and merchandising processes.
  • Manage Floorsets, merchandise adjustments, and replenishment, ensuring the team understands their role in keeping the store guest-ready.
  • Maximize business through well-thought-out scheduling by evaluating traffic, calendars, and payroll reports.
  • Make scheduling adjustments to meet business needs, keep payroll in check, and leverage top talent for guest experience.
  • Demonstrate integrity in compensation decisions.
  • Ensure audit and shrink results meet Asset Protection Standards.
  • Follow AEO's policies and procedures.
