About The Position

The Temporary Merchandising Store Team Leader at L.L.Bean's Legacy Village Retail store in Lyndhurst, OH plays a crucial role in driving business results and ensuring the delivery of the legendary L.L.Bean customer experience within an outdoor lifestyle concept retail store. This position is responsible for promoting the company's core values, which include Outdoor Heritage, Integrity, Service, Respect, Perseverance, and Safe and Healthy Living. The Team Leader will oversee merchandising efforts, ensuring that the store's presentation aligns with the brand's mission and values. This includes planning, mapping, and executing floor sets, analyzing sales reports, and making informed decisions to enhance customer loyalty and drive sales. The role also involves training and supporting associates, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary product knowledge and skills to provide exceptional service to customers. In addition to merchandising responsibilities, the Team Leader will be accountable for total store performance, including financial measures and area-specific metrics. They will act as a key holder, responsible for opening and closing the store, and will prepare daily task responsibilities for staff. The Team Leader will also manage employee communications, facilitate training sessions, and ensure that all safety policies and procedures are followed to maintain a safe and healthy workplace.
