About The Position

As the Store Team Leader, you will act as the CEO of your store, focusing on maximizing daily operations, driving sales, and developing a strong team through effective coaching and training. You will be responsible for creating and managing the store's business plan, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining AEO Brand Standards while fostering a positive work environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a retail management role leading functional teams.
  • Strong multi-tasking abilities with attention to detail and effective time management skills.
  • Proven track record in leading and developing teams with a general understanding of employment law.
  • Effective communication and conflict management skills.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze reporting to drive sales.
  • Flexible availability to work when guests shop.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales by maximizing overall store productivity and building guest loyalty through an exceptional guest experience.
  • Create, manage, and own the store's business plan to meet KPI goals.
  • Analyze reporting and daily sales trends to make innovative business decisions to achieve financial goals.
  • Recruit, hire, and retain a high-performing team, advocating for their development and ensuring a clear career path.
  • Champion a culture of teamwork and recognition by establishing goals and holding the team accountable to brand standards.
  • Ensure the store maintains AEO Brand Visual Standards and manage all visual and merchandising processes.
  • Evaluate traffic, calendars, and payroll reports to make scheduling adjustments that meet business needs.
  • Demonstrate integrity in compensation decisions and ensure compliance with Asset Protection Standards.
