Requirements

Ability to coach and lead store associates
Ability to see problems and work proactively to correct them
Self-motivated with good team skills
Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings and Saturdays
Ability to hear, understand, and respond to customers and associates
Ability to locate and identify product for customers
Ability to stand for long periods and regularly lift 20 lbs

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Deseret Book products, policies, and procedures preferred
Computer and cashiering skills helpful

Responsibilities

Sell Deseret Book products and services in a retail store environment
Deliver excellent customer service
Oversee retail store operations such as cashiering, gift wrapping, merchandise presentation, shipping/receiving, store recovery, etc
Supervise, train, and motivate store associates
Give assignments and follow up to ensure timely completion
Perform store opening and closing assignments
