About The Position

The Store Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day team activities to ensure operational excellence and compliance with policies and procedures at TD Bank. This role involves managing the store in the absence of other managers, driving sales and customer service objectives, and leading a team to enhance customer relationships and experiences. The supervisor will also handle customer escalations and ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines while promoting a culture of integrity and safety.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; undergraduate degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of related experience working with customers and/or sales.
  • Previous supervisory experience or demonstrated ability in providing direction and coaching.
  • Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Sound judgment in decision making and problem solving.
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain order in the store.
  • Good working knowledge of Outlook, Lotus Notes, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day team activities to ensure operational excellence and compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Manage the store in the absence of other managers, including running the teller side and handling customer escalations.
  • Drive and reinforce sales and advice activities to create personalized customer experiences.
  • Provide supervisory oversight to a team of advice and service colleagues to achieve individual and store objectives.
  • Monitor workflows for the teller team and platform, prioritizing tasks and delegating responsibilities.
  • Educate the team on bank operational policies and procedures to manage risk and protect the bank and customers.
  • Engage in conversations with customers about loan products and facilitate application intake, maintaining active registration with NMLS.
  • Lead, develop, and coach the team on delivering effective customer service and product advice.
  • Utilize customer relationship tools to advocate for customers and promote financial literacy.
  • Acquire and deepen the store customer base through proactive sales and service activities.
