Store Shift Supervisor
About The Position
Starting pay $17 an hour PLUS $2 premium pay on weekends! Weekends and Holidays required. Shift to be a mix of Evening and Day hours. Do you enjoy leading others while working alongside them? Do you enjoy improving customer service and sales? Are you ready to take your management experience to the next level? We have just the spot for you in our Iowa 80 Truckstop store! The ideal candidate will be outgoing, dedicated to maintaining positive, supportive relationships with our customers and staff, eager to assist them with their traveling needs and selections of products as well as the employee growth. We have a variety of unique gift items, accessories for their big rigs and healthy grab and go foods!
Requirements
- Friendly and helpful personality with a willingness to assist customers promptly
- Previous retail and supervisory experience are a plus
- Must be able to work well with others
- Ability to stand for 10 hours during scheduled shift

Responsibilities
- Leading your team to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
- Assisting customers in the selection and purchase of merchandise.
- Always provide exceptional customer service.
- Operation of a cash register.
- Maintaining accurate cash drawers and deposits.
- Overseeing Staff, keeping them motivated and on task.
- Assisting with and deescalating any customer complaints or concerns.
- Ability to work as a team and provide friendly and quality service.
- Other duties as assigned.
