About The Position

The Store Security provides access control and safety security services at Goodwill, through enforcement of company policies and procedures. Provides first line review and monitoring for all potential Security and Safety events, and incidents. Assist in responding to LEO Law Enforcement Officers, Fire and EMS Emergency Medical Services.

Requirements

Approachable and friendly demeanor when greeting the public and answering incoming phone calls.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite software Including a strong emphasis on Word and Excel.
Must possess strong interpersonal skills with excellent communication and report writing skills.
Exhibits a high level of integrity and business ethics.
Exhibits a high level of adaptability and flexibility.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual a plus.
CPR & First Aid Certified - Preferred

Responsibilities

Initiates proper notification to individuals on the Emergency Contact List relating to emergency events occurring on the overnight; corporate shift, active burglary, fire, flooding, power failure, and ability to respond accordingly as Goodwill first responder POC on scene.
Checks all Security Cameras for proper operations and report discrepancies to AP Management
Conducts live video surveillance of assigned Goodwill Store using the Avigilon Surveillance Platform.
Assists with Video Coverage Investigation Reviews.
Participates in crisis management conflict resolution events between team members, customers, clients, vendors, and contractors to eliminate confrontations and altercations.
Identifies and communicates all Incidents of access violations and theft to Asset Protection management
Checks all Axis, Avigilon Security Systems cameras for proper operation, report discrepancies to AP Management
Assists with other duties as assigned. Ability to assist the Investigators.
Assists in any other projects as determined by management.
May Assist Investigators In Undercover/Plain Clothes Operations and TM Misconduct Interviews
Proficient, Knowledgeable on 1he Nevada Revised Statute .especially NRS 207.200 - Trespass Warning
