About The Position
The Conner Prairie Store Associate is responsible for selling amenities and products to Conner Prairie guests. These products serve to continue the museum experience or a memory of their experience, while generating and serving as an income stream for the Museum operations.
Requirements
- High School diploma or G.E.D. desired.

Responsibilities
- Provides immediate guest greeting to all visitors of the stores
- Helps guests find merchandise to extend their park visit by showing and suggesting.
- Participates in an annual physical inventory
- Receives and tickets merchandise stocking as needed
- Reconciles daily sales with registers
- Operates cash register and serve guests
- Handles customer special orders
- Proficient in POS operations staying current with changes
- Keeps work station and sales floor tidy and clean
- Answers guests Conner Prairie questions
- Helps store volunteers with store related questions
