About The Position

This position issues supplies and tools from storeroom and maintains records of supplies issued and received.  Receives and verifies incoming materials. This position will be primarily on Day Shift but must be flexible to adjust shift assignment to cover vacancies on other shifts when needed.

• Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses   equipment and materials properly.
• Valid Driver’s License and driving record that meets Lamb Weston Driving Standards
• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Issues and records on appropriate forms , all tools and supplies drawn from storeroom .
• Cleans, inspects and tags tools for repairs as needed.
• Receives, verifies, tags and stores incoming freight.  Matches receiving documents to company purchase order paperwork.
• Using the computer system, generate work orders, and perform inventory and equipment inquires necessary to support maintenance personnel.
• Conducts inventory checks as .  Investigate discrepancies between physical count and inventory record.
• Maintains storeroom in a neat and orderly fashion with special attention to correct locations of items.
