About The Position
The Pick Up & Delivery (PUD) position at FedEx Office involves providing essential customer service activities related to the pick-up and delivery of orders to and from FedEx Office stores and customers' places of business. This role is primarily executed by driving a company vehicle, ensuring that it is regularly serviced and cleaned. The PUD Courier will receive daily route information from a centralized dispatcher, who may adjust the route as necessary. In addition to delivery tasks, the PUD Courier may also be required to perform various duties within a FedEx Office Store during periods without assigned pick-up or delivery activities. Key responsibilities include driving to customers' locations or FedEx Office stores to pick up completed photocopy orders and supplies, as well as delivering finished orders and marketing materials. The PUD Courier is responsible for operating the company vehicle in compliance with motor vehicle regulations and company policies, maintaining vehicle upkeep, and documenting pick-up and delivery logs. Ensuring quality service during customer interactions is paramount, as is adherence to safety policies and traffic laws. The role may also involve additional duties within the store during non-delivery times, contributing to a dynamic work environment.
