About The Position

The Store Protection Specialist at Ross Dress for Less is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for both customers and associates. This role involves providing a visible presence at store entrances and on the sales floor to deter theft and fraud, while also delivering excellent customer service. The Specialist collaborates with store leadership to ensure compliance with loss prevention directives and to minimize operational shortages.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree preferred.
• One year of retail supervisory experience or similar training preferred.
• One year of loss prevention/security training preferred.
• Active Security Guard License preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with the store team.
• Excellent customer service skills and proven conflict resolution abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide a visible presence at store entrances/exits to deter theft and fraud.
