About The Position
The Sales Porter at Conn's Home Plus plays a crucial role in ensuring that customers receive excellent service while also providing essential warehouse support. This position is designed for individuals who are dedicated to maintaining a clean and organized store environment, assisting with inventory control, and ensuring that products are readily available for customers. The Sales Porter will be responsible for tagging products, helping with general warehouse tasks, and ensuring that the store remains clean and welcoming for customers. This role requires a commitment to customer service and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment. In addition to customer service duties, the Sales Porter will assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the store and support customer carry-outs. This includes ensuring that products are properly stocked and organized, which is vital for a smooth shopping experience. The role may also involve physical tasks such as moving products throughout the facility, which requires the ability to lift and position items weighing up to 150 lbs. without assistance and up to 250 lbs. with the help of equipment like dollies. The Sales Porter must be prepared to work a full-time retail schedule, which includes evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as overtime as needed.
