About The Position

We are actively looking for our next leader to join us as a Store Operations & Sales Manager for our Lincoln, NE location Gustave A Larson Company is an HVAC/R wholesale distributor. What qualities are we looking for? Delivering Results through Sales Leadership – Increasing market share within the local HVAC/R market. This is achieved by growing equipment, parts and accessories sales. Building relationships with customers and holding team accountable to sales and margin growth goals will be critical to success. Warehouse Operations/Counter Sales Team Best in Class – You will lead the teams by running the daily operations of the counter, warehouse and deliveries. You are focused on maintaining accurate inventory, and understanding operations processes/policies. You control freight, returns, and expenses while managing a PnL. You exceed organizational goals with positive results. Sales Marketing is a Significant Component – drive customer engagement to increase sales traffic. Be a valued partner on programs, co-op’s and product focuses. Be a subject matter expert about our industry. Execute local marketing efforts. Team Leadership is Key – As a Store Manager, you are enthusiastic, energetic, creative, and experienced in being able to hire, coach and develop team members. You set daily expectations and drive accountability. You address performance issues quickly by providing clear communication and feedback. HVAC/R Industry Knowledge – Understanding or a willingness to learn HVAC residential, commercial, refrigeration systems is a must, that experience is needed to assist in selling the right equipment and recommending the right systems for our customers’ jobs. Attention to Detail – Our industry is technical in nature and details matter. Requirements

  • 2 years+ of Operations Management and leadership of a team (HVAC preferred but not required). Experience in selling product/equipment is preferred.
  • College Degree is also acceptable as experience. Industrial Distribution degrees or emphasis strongly preferred.
  • Strong Written and Verbal Communication skills
  • Highly motivated and detail oriented
  • Quick learner for online operations and sales oriented programs
  • Valid Driver’s license/driving record
  • High School diploma or equivalent required

Nice To Haves

  • HVAC preferred but not required
  • Experience in selling product/equipment is preferred.
