About The Position

The Store Operations Administrator at Bassett Furniture is responsible for managing the daily operations of the retail location in Kennesaw, ensuring that financial objectives, customer experience, and daily tasks are consistently achieved. This role involves working closely with customers, handling payment arrangements, addressing customer service issues, scheduling deliveries, and maintaining adherence to operational processes and standards.

Requirements

• Retail experience is a plus but not required.
• Conflict and problem resolution skills.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clear driving record.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Windows-based software, including Word and Excel.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or pull up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the retail location to achieve financial objectives and enhance customer experience.
• Assist customers with payment arrangements and follow up on service issues.
• Schedule deliveries and respond to post-delivery surveys.
• Ensure adherence to customer relations and operational processes.
• Assist design consultants with order entry and cash management.
• Manage petty cash reconciliation and cash drawer balancing.
• Audit daily business folders and ensure cash balancing with necessary documentation.
• Process service orders and maintain communication with customers regarding service status.
• Establish relationships with various departments including HR and accounting.
• Perform other operational duties as assigned.
