About The Position
The Store Operations Administrator at Bassett Furniture is a pivotal role responsible for managing the daily operations of the retail location in Dallas, TX - Inwood Village. This position is essential in ensuring that the store meets its financial objectives while providing an exceptional customer experience. The Store Operations Administrator will oversee various administrative functions, operational processes, and systems to maintain adherence to Bassett's standards. This includes managing customer relations, ensuring efficient operational processes, and supporting the store manager in achieving daily tasks and objectives. In this role, the administrator will assist design consultants with order entry, cash management, and financing applications. They will also be responsible for ordering parts for customers, managing petty cash reconciliation, and ensuring that all necessary documentation is sent to the Retail Accounting Team. The position requires a commitment to Bassett's Vision and Values, effective communication with customers and team members, and the ability to navigate Windows-based software, including Word and Excel. The Store Operations Administrator will also manage operational processes such as store expense control, inventory accuracy, and building maintenance, while establishing relationships with various departments including human resources and accounting. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and time management skills, conflict resolution abilities, and a team-oriented attitude. They will be expected to maintain satisfactory attendance and perform other operational duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the store.
