The Store Operations Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring that the store operates smoothly and efficiently. This position involves unloading, processing, and stocking freight to maximize product availability for customers. The associate is responsible for maintaining a positive shopping experience for customers by providing excellent service and ensuring that the store is well-stocked and organized. This role requires adherence to company policies and procedures, particularly in relation to safety and operational standards. In addition to stocking and processing freight, the Store Operations Associate will perform cashier duties, ensuring that all transactions are processed accurately and in accordance with company policy. The associate will also be responsible for maintaining 5S standards, which include sorting, straightening, systematic cleanup, standardizing, and sustaining the organization of the receiving area. This ensures that the store remains clean and organized, contributing to a positive shopping environment. The role also involves performing store recovery tasks and housekeeping duties as needed, both inside and outside the store. Safety is a top priority, and the associate must operate all equipment safely and follow directed procedures to minimize shrink and damages.
