About The Position
The STORE/NIGHT CLERK is responsible for creating an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service, maintaining a safe and clean environment, assisting the department manager in achieving sales and profit goals, monitoring quality assurance standards, and encouraging excellent customer service by embracing the Customer 1st strategy. This role also involves demonstrating the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. Smith’s Food and Drug, based in Salt Lake City, Utah, merged with The Kroger Company in 1998 and serves customers in over 140 stores across multiple states. Responsibilities
- Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service.
- Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return.
- Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals established for the department and monitor all established quality assurance standards.
- Embrace the Customer 1st strategy and encourage associates to deliver excellent customer service.
