About The Position

The Store Merchandiser position involves servicing and ordering products for customers by performing various duties. This includes ensuring that deliveries are properly stocked on designated shelves and displays, organizing back stock, and managing the pickup of damaged or out-of-date products. The role requires communication with the sales and delivery team regarding issues, opportunities, and promotions. The Store Merchandiser must adhere to a daily schedule, maintain cleanliness of customer shelves, and assist in forecasting sales based on previous reports and upcoming promotions. The position is full-time and requires a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Requirements

• High School education level.
• Valid driver's license meeting acceptable criteria.
• Insurance declaration showing minimum coverage of $100K/$300K/$100K.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds frequently and more than 100 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers by ensuring all deliveries are properly worked by stocking designated shelves and displays.
• Organize back stock and place it on appropriate pallets, bunkers, or trailers.
• Gather shells/flats and pallets for pickup, and bundle damaged or out-of-date products.
• Assist Presales and Delivery Associates by reviewing promotions and new sales orders.
• Communicate issues, problems, or opportunities with the sales and delivery team.
• Stay informed about new product offerings, sales events/promotions, and display opportunities.
• Adhere to daily schedule and ensure each account is serviced daily.
• Inspect and maintain cleanliness of customer shelves and allocated spaces.
• Audit and pull out-of-date or damaged products and rotate stock.
• Support forecasting sales based on previous reports and upcoming promotions.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
