Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• 2 years' experience in a retail environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow established department procedures for receiving and unloading incoming shipments.
• Price products and stock cases to ensure quality, protection, accuracy, and proper rotation of products.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with safety and sanitation requirements.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and government weights and measures and labeling laws.
• Greet and take orders from customers.
• Cut, tray, and package all required meat and seafood products for the day.
• Maintain proper safety practices while using cutting accessories and comply with the use of mesh gloves while using a knife.
• Participate in pre-inventory preparation, including back stock and ensuring tags match products.
• Assist in other departments as needed.
