About The Position

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years prior retail management experience.
  • Background in hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience is a plus.
  • Strong productivity management ability in freight processing.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
  • Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the profitable operation of a retail store.
  • Recruiting, hiring, training, and developing store associates.
  • Performing all opening and closing procedures.
  • Implementing operational and merchandising direction from the Store Support Center.
  • Maintaining high standards of merchandising, store signage, and display techniques.
  • Assisting in maximizing the store's profit contribution.
  • Protecting company assets.
  • Maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Creative problem solving in associate development, maximizing sales potential, controlling expenses, and merchandise display.
