The Store Manager reports to the Regional Manager and ensures the uniform execution of the Division direction within their store. This role is essential for meeting or exceeding store sales and profit plans through the training, coaching, and managing of the sales staff. The Store Manager is responsible for providing training and communication of Service Excellence goals to the sales staff, as well as maintaining communication with the Regional Manager and BSS merchants regarding merchandise issues and needs. The merchandise must be consistently presented in the store according to Belk's visual and merchandising standards. The Store Manager coordinates timely floor setup for all promotional and seasonal activities and ensures shrinkage control and Loss Prevention in the store through continual management of associates. They are also responsible for the proper execution of all existing systems and procedures, ownership of new system implementations, and processes. Additionally, the Store Manager must communicate and manage associates on price integrity in the store, ensuring timely completion of permanent price changes and reporting all deviations to the Regional Manager/Price Manager. The ROCC the Dock process must be followed to ensure that merchandise is on the sales floor per the ROCC the Dock productivity standards.
