Leaders must delegate, train, and monitor the progress of all associates and all facets of the hardware store. The primary responsibilities of in-store management are to manage the sales, expenses, profits, assets, and team members' personal development to ensure customers are receiving the highest level of customer service. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of previous retail management experience. We are looking for qualified individuals for roles such as shift manager, assistant manager, and store manager. Requirements

  • Ability to lift 40 pounds consistently, stand, and walk for up to 10 hours during shift.
  • Preferred minimum 2+ years of retail or customer service experience.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
  • Passion to provide industry leading customer service.
  • Ability to communicate clear and confidently.
  • Organized and have attention for detail.

Responsibilities

  • Provide and ensure all customers are having their needs met and are receiving excellent customer service.
  • Responsible for store readiness in opening and closing procedures.
  • Direct team members to uphold Ace standards and policies and procedures.
  • Be accountable for area operations by overseeing all services and products are effectively managed to maximize sales and productivity.
  • Ensure all safety standards are met and followed to provide a safe working and retail environment.
  • Provide guidance and allocate daily work and for team members to ensure engagement.
  • Interact with team members to ensure they are receiving adequate training, development, and coaching to be successful.
  • Identify talent and fosters support in career advancement.
