The Store Manager is responsible for all store functions and day-to-day store activities in accordance with company policies and procedures. This includes performing all opening and closing procedures, protecting and securing all company assets, including store cash, and adhering to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines. The Store Manager must maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors, and ensure that all areas of the store, including the stockroom and sales floor, are maintained to company standards, including recovery. Additionally, the Store Manager has direct supervisory responsibility for all hourly Associates and is responsible for processing all SSC Corporate directives, including Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, Key Survey information requests, and any additional communications related to store activities. The Store Manager is also responsible for DSD merchandise and must follow the VIP and DSD Policies and Procedures.
