The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of their store, ensuring it runs smoothly and effectively. This includes managing all aspects of store operations, such as scheduling, customer service, marketing, merchandising, inventory, financial reporting, and safety. The role involves managing, developing, and motivating store employees, as well as developing business strategies to meet goals and increase sales in a competitive marketplace. The manager will grow the company’s market share by selling to large, commercial users like paint contractors, and retail customers. The typical schedule is 48 hours per week, which may include evenings and/or weekends. This position is eligible for performance-based bonuses and a range of health, security, retirement, and saving benefits. The job duties involve contact with customers, including minors, and access to cash, payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, and store merchandise, which may be supervised or unsupervised.
