Requirements

  • At least 21 years old.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, as well as lift, stoop, bend, and twist.
  • Often lifts greater than 50 pounds, floor to waist and waist to eye level.
  • At least two years of supervisory experience is required for this position, and training in management and leadership is preferred.
  • Background Check
  • Successfully pass a motor vehicle insurance report.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates activities with Warehouse Manager, Directors, Vice President and various staff within the whole agency
  • Ensures compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements as well as all policies and procedures through regular store management and staff meetings, store walk-through and audits, etc.
  • Recruits, trains, supervises, assigns and motivates staff, volunteers, community service and government program workers who assist via restitution, etc.
  • Communicates with staff as well as assessing performance on a regular basis
  • Maintains records and files; checks time cards, submits to payroll
  • Manages financial resources, maintains financial solvency of the facility; orders supplies when needed
  • Identifies and recognizes saleable goods in accordance with DBGR standards
