About The Position

We’re hiring a Store Manager to lead daily operations, financial performance, and customer service excellence at our Pensacola, FL branch. This position is ideal for a strong leader who thrives on developing teams, optimizing branch performance, and driving results through collaboration and service. The Store Manager supervises, directs and controls all daily activities associated with the operations of the assigned store location.

Requirements

  • Excellent leadership, time management, and project management skills

  • Proven customer service and relationship-building abilities
  • Strong reasoning, problem-solving, and math aptitude
  • Clean driving record (DMV report required)
  • Professional appearance consistent with the construction industry
  • Associate's degree and/or 2+ years of experience in a related leadership role

Responsibilities

  • Provide an exceptional customer experience that drives repeat business and strengthens customer relationships with SouthernCarlson.
  • Oversee all store operations and expenses to ensure the store meets or exceeds profitability and performance goals.
  • Lead merchandising efforts to maximize sales, margins, and overall store performance.
  • Hire, train, coach, and develop store associates across all departments, fostering a high-performing and engaged team.
  • Manage inventory levels, product availability, and ensure accurate pricing throughout the store.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional store environment, including the sales floor, stock areas, and restrooms.
  • Ensure accurate cash handling, safeguarding of funds, and timely financial reporting in accordance with company policies.
  • Create and manage staff schedules to support business needs, customer demand, and labor objectives.
  • Monitor local market and competitor activity, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Partner with the Credit Department to manage and resolve customer account issues as needed.
  • Collaborate with Divisional Management, Purchasing, and Inventory Control to maintain balanced inventory and efficient product flow from the distribution center to the store.
  • Work closely with Management and Accounting to ensure accurate reporting, resolve issues, and improve processes by adhering to or recommending updates to established procedures.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with all SouthernCarlson departments to support company objectives.
  • Promote and maintain a safe, compliant, and welcoming work environment for employees and customers at all times.
