About The Position

Carl Friedrik is opening its first physical store in New York, one of the brand’s strongest and most strategically important markets. This opening represents a major step in our global retail expansion and a significant investment in the US. The New York store will play a critical role in shaping how the brand is experienced in the market and in informing future retail growth across the US. As Store Manager, you will take full ownership of the day to day performance of the New York store. You will lead the in store team, set standards, drive sales, and ensure the store operates at a consistently high level from launch onwards. This role suits a commercially minded retail leader who enjoys responsibility, thrives in high visibility environments, and treats the store as their own business while working closely with central teams. You are an experienced retail manager with a strong track record in premium or luxury environments. You are confident leading teams, managing performance, and holding high standards across service, presentation, and operations. You are commercially sharp and understand how to drive sales through people, client relationships, and disciplined execution rather than relying on footfall alone. You are comfortable operating with autonomy day to day, while collaborating closely with senior stakeholders and following a clear strategic direction. You care about detail, consistency, and long term brand building, and you understand that the first impression of a flagship store sets expectations for everything that follows. An interest in travel, design, and quality craftsmanship is important, but you are equally focused on turning that story into results.
