About The Position

Don's & Ben's Liquors is looking for Store Managers. The Store Manager oversees all Retail Liquor store operations with hands-on focus on customer service to ensure that our customers have a memorable experience. The store manager is responsible for providing leadership including but not limited to employee coaching, cash/expense management, inventory control, loss prevention, safety, and store appearance.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in retail or management level.
• With proven working experience as a cashier in customer service/retail industry
• A clear MVR record and valid driver’s license with dependable transportation
• Must be able to travel to any or all retail store locations.
• Strong communication skills, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude.
• Must be able to safely lift to 40 lbs. to waist level and bend down repeatedly.

Nice To Haves

• Liquor retail industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations, supervise employees, and manage inventory.
• Responsible for submitting daily store reporting documents to Corporate and making daily bank deposits.
• Demonstrate leadership and promotes a teamwork-oriented environment setting high standards for optimum guest service.
• Adhere to loss prevention, inventory control and compliance procedures.
• Maintain awareness for overall sales growth by up-selling products within the store and maintaining correct inventory levels to support sales and growth.
• Recruit, train, develop and motivate your employees.
• Responsible for insuring stock is adequately stocked using cycle-counting, in- store shelving spot checks and min/max reports in Retail Pro as required by Corporate.
• Insuring purchase orders are received and entered into the Retail Pro inventory system using pre-approved inventory control procedures.
• Accountable for opening the store by 10:00 a.m. on a daily basis and advising Corporate of any problems occurring during the night.
• Implement new product lines and create strategies to introduce and promote them to our guests.
• Perform all other duties as assigned to maintain an effective and profitable store operation.
