The company fosters a community of travelers, aiming to make travel more seamless for everyone. They are hiring a Store Manager to lead their Los Angeles, West Hollywood team. The Retail team is responsible for creating a transformative experience for customers in their seventeen stores worldwide, building connections through product education, world-class service, and operational excellence. This role is an exciting opportunity to join a celebrated brand focused on innovation and providing best-in-class support to customers. Candidates should be prepared to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to support business needs.

Requirements

  • Extensive elevated customer service and managerial experience, preferably at a scaling company within the retail industry
  • A proven leader who uses business acumen to connect the day-to-day work to effectively drive results
  • Precise attention to detail and an entrepreneurial mindset
  • An excellent communicator, collaborator, and teammate
  • A team player that is comfortable getting their hands dirty
  • Experience managing a team, including recruiting, hiring, and retaining
  • Experience fostering learning, developing people, and aligning teams around a path to achieve the company’s vision
  • Reliable, effective, and take accountability for the success of your business
  • Solution oriented; you are resourceful with commitment to following through
  • Ability to pull, push, lift, and carry up to 25 pounds throughout the duration of a work shift

Responsibilities

  • Ensure your team is delivering best-in-class, exceptional customer service to every person, every time
  • Embody our brand standards and core values by setting ambitious expectations, prioritizing accordingly, and taking accountability for your results
  • Take proactive ownership of all store operations to make sure the store hits financial objectives and remains compliant with all operational expectations
  • Work cross-functionally with CX and HQ partners to ensure the store upholds expectations of operational excellence
  • Drive brand awareness by supporting and executing impactful community events and partnerships in partnership with HQ
  • Use company tools and tactics to analyze opportunities, strategize, and implement action plans to drive the business to success
  • Ensure your team meets individual KPI expectations and sales goals by providing metrics, KPIs, and continuous feedback and coaching
  • Develop your team by welcoming new perspectives and ways of working/thinking, promoting a culture of learning and feedback, and communicating often and openly
  • Inspire and align people around a path to achieve our vision
  • Lead inventory cycle counts in partnership with inventory control, and will manage loss prevention
  • Dedicate time for feedback with each of your direct reports at least once per month
  • Lead weekly leadership meetings to align, share strategy, and implement long-term solutions for business opportunities
  • Assess talent needs and proactively recruit, hire, and maintain headcount
