Dutch Country Catering has been serving traditional, homestyle Amish cooking since 2012 for weddings, corporate events, and private parties, and now also operates a retail store and café. As a family-owned, faith-based business, the team focuses on made-from-scratch meals and thoughtful service that create memorable experiences for every customer. What You'll Do as Store Manager: Run the day-to-day operations of the store, making sure everything is clean, stocked, and running smoothly Lead the team by creating schedules, giving direction, and helping employees stay on track Train employees on food safety, store procedures, and proper workflows Keep track of inventory and help reduce waste Handle cash, including counting drawers and making sure totals are correct Make sure the store follows food safety rules and stays ready for inspections Take care of customers by keeping a friendly, welcoming environment and handling concerns Our Ideal Store Manager: Experienced: 3+ years of experience in catering, hospitality, food service, or a related field required. At least 1 year of leadership experience preferred. ServSafe certification is a plus, but not required. Leader: Able to lead a team, give direction, and keep people on task throughout the day. Organized: Keeps things running smoothly, stays on top of details, and handles problems as they come up. Strong Work Ethic: Shows up ready to work, sets the tone for the team, and takes responsibility for the store. Customer-focused: Treats customers well, handles concerns calmly, and helps create a friendly environment. Computer Skills: Comfortable using POS systems, inventory systems, or basic computer programs. Active: Able to lift 40-50 lbs. and stay on your feet throughout the day.
