About The Position

Take your career to new heights as a full-time Store Manager at Bache MMM Batteries LLC in Macon, GA! WHAT YOUR DAY ENTAILS: As our Store Manager, you drive both retail and commercial sales initiatives, executing in-store programs and implementing business plans to achieve sales goals. You develop your team with a customer-first approach, providing training and coaching on GAP ACT selling behaviors while meeting prospecting and lead generation targets. You manage personnel functions, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and recruitment, to maintain a high-performing team. Collaborating with assistant managers, you ensure merchandising, inventory, and safety standards are met, manage costs effectively, and ensure smooth device flow using the Work Order Management System.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency, a degree in business or retail management is preferred
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Experience in commercial (outside) sales is preferred
  • 3 years of retail management and supervisory experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Speaks clearly and effectively in a variety of settings
  • Basic understanding of accounting procedures and financial statements
  • A basic knowledge of electronics, including the ability to accurately read gauges and work with hands
  • Ability to travel locally up to 15% of the time
  • Ability to effectively manage confrontation in a controlled and courteous manner
  • Ability to calculate simple math, percentages, and ratios
  • Ability to become forklift certified
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including peak seasons and special events
  • Ability to work at multiple store locations
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and more occasionally
