We’re looking for an inspiring Store Manager to lead one of our New Mexico Piñon Coffee Café locations! We’re a locally rooted company driven by community, quality, and connection. If you’re passionate about people, love mentoring others, and believe great coffee brings people together, we’d love to meet you. As Store Manager, you’ll be the heartbeat of the café. Leading your team, creating customers, and ensuring daily operations run smoothly.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in customer service, food service, or beverage preparation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to consistency and quality
  • A natural ability and genuine passion for leading and mentoring a team
  • A love for building meaningful connections with both your team and your community
  • Prior experience in customer service, food, or beverage preparation preferred but not required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational consistency.
  • Demonstrated reliability, adaptability, and self-motivation in a team environment.
  • Serve Safe certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).
  • Dependable attendance and ability to perform without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage team schedules to ensure proper coverage and efficiency
  • Train, coach, and support team members to meet and exceed performance standards
  • Lead by example by delivering exceptional customer service and resolving concerns with care and professionalism
  • Uphold company values, policies, and promotions, ensuring consistency across the café
  • Manage operations within company-set budgets
  • Communicate company goals, provide ongoing feedback, and foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture
  • Partner closely with the Director of Operations, Maintenance, and Marketing teams to keep operations, facilities, and promotions aligned
  • Develop and mentor employees to drive engagement, retention, and internal growth
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support marketing initiatives, operational updates, and community involvement
