About The Position

This role is responsible for leading a high-performing retail store team, driving sales growth, profitability, and operational excellence. You will manage the day-to-day store operations, develop and coach your team, and ensure exceptional customer experiences. The position involves P&L ownership, strategic planning, and identifying new business opportunities, including wholesale accounts. You will foster a collaborative, safety-conscious, and customer-focused environment, while continuously improving processes and maintaining store standards. Success in this role requires strong leadership, initiative, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced retail setting. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical/trade school or degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in retail management, automotive, heavy equipment, or related industries.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
  • Excellent customer service orientation with a focus on building long-term relationships.
  • Ability to manage P&L, analyze financial performance, and execute business plans.
  • Knowledge of inventory management, stock control, and seasonal adjustments is a plus.
  • Proficiency with cash registers, computer systems, and catalog navigation.
  • ASE certifications or automotive industry experience highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop store employees to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve business objectives.
  • Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and cash handling.
  • Manage P&L responsibilities, develop business plans, and execute initiatives to drive revenue and profitability.
  • Identify and pursue new customer and revenue opportunities, including supporting outside sales with wholesale accounts.
  • Maintain safety, security, and appearance standards for the store.
  • Implement continuous improvements in processes, procedures, and team performance.
  • Serve as a role model for company culture, values, and customer-centric behavior.
