About The Position

We are currently seeking a Store Manager responsible for overseeing the daily operations of express mart, ensuring efficient and profitable functioning. This role includes managing staff, maintaining inventory, ensuring customer satisfaction, and complying with safety and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in customer service or retail is preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory position is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in operating cash registers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation procedures is a plus.
  • Friendly and outgoing personality with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure customer satisfaction through excellent service.
  • Develop strong product knowledge to answer customer queries and make recommendations.
  • Address customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming store environment.
  • Monitor stock levels and order merchandise as needed.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and manage stock discrepancies
  • Recruit, hire, train, and supervise store employees.
  • Schedule staff shifts.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
  • Handle employee conflicts and disciplinary actions.
  • Handle cash management, including deposits and reconciliations.
  • Executes merchandising plan in accordance with the company initiatives
  • Manage in-store merchandising and product placement.
  • Generate daily paperwork to regularly report on sales, waste, and inventory.
  • Ensure the store complies with all health, safety and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain all equipment and facilities, ensuring they are in good working order.
