JOB OVERVIEW: We are seeking a motivated Store Manager, whose main priority will be to hire, train, and lead the store sales staff to perform all duties to serve customers best. You will provide oversight of all store day-to-day operations and provide excellent customer service and store maintenance. The Store Manager will set the tone for operations and create a positive work environment for learning and growth. You will be responsible for driving profitability by maximizing sales and lead by example as you demonstrate an ability to set and hit goals. Evening and weekend availability required Scheduling is rotated between staff

Requirements

  • High school diploma/ GED required
  • Moderate grammar, math, and computer skills
  • Typically, a bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or similar field; or 4 more years of related industry or retail experience
  • 1-year management experience, or at least 6 months of Beaches management experience
  • Flexible schedule and must be available to work 40 hours per week including mornings/nights/weekends/holidays
  • Physical demands: this position involves constant moving, standing, talking, hearing, reaching, and bending over to clean a tanning bed for up to 8 hours at a time

Responsibilities

  • Support the Operations Manager in their overall efforts and goals
  • Train Associate and Assistant Managers
  • Lead daily operations and set the tone for a positive, energetic environment
  • Coach and develop your team (because you're only as good as your glow squad)
  • Drive membership sales and retail performance
  • Manage scheduling, labor hours, inventory, and reporting
  • Work closely with marketing, customer service and HR to support company initiatives and policies
  • Plan and lead monthly store meetings
  • Review and submit semi-monthly payroll accurately and on time
  • Oversee all store operations including maintenance and cleanliness
  • Ensure every guest leaves glowing - inside and out
  • Other duties as assigned
