About The Position

As a Retail Store Manager / Supervisor you will manage a retail store location and ensure smooth flow of operation and provide excellent customer service to achieve company financial goals. Provide direct client services through innovation and compliance with required standards for all activities of assigned department and to promote improve and support the agency. Achieve established sales and expense budgets . Responsible for the direct supervision of all employees in the retail store including planning, assigning and directing work, conducting performance appraisals, coaching and counseling, making recommendations for disciplinary action, and addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or general education degree with courses in business/marketing
  • Two years of retail experience in a management or supervisory capacity
  • Experience with training and supervision of shipping and receiving functions, stock duties and merchandising, and cashiering and customer service at a retail location
  • Ability to drive and carry a valid driver's license and proof of insurance
  • Must have or be eligible to obtain Development Disabilities Certification
  • Basic computer literacy'e-mail, internet, word processing
  • Ability to lift and move up to 45lbs
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays as required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related area preferred
