The Store Manager is responsible for leading the store team to achieve sales and service goals while embodying the values and priorities of the company. This role involves managing sales strategies, developing team members, and ensuring a high level of customer service. The Store Manager will also be responsible for operational tasks, including staffing, scheduling, and maintaining store standards. The position requires a strong understanding of the luxury retail environment and the ability to adapt to changing market conditions.

  • Understand organizational objectives and align decisions with company priorities and values.
  • Model and develop the team to deliver selling and service expectations.
  • Manage sales strategies and initiatives across all categories.
  • Set and communicate sales/productivity goals for the team.
  • Hold the management team accountable for productivity and contributions.
  • Drive business through sales strategies and clienteling.
  • Develop and implement a clienteling strategy in partnership with the District Manager.
  • Build credibility as a personal fashion advisor to team and customers.
  • Act as a brand ambassador in the local market.
  • Coach the team on incorporating trends into their selling experience.
  • Resolve customer problems and meet needs in a timely manner.
  • Encourage team to build long-term relationships with customers.
  • Recruit, hire, and develop team members.
  • Manage daily operational tasks according to company standards.
  • Forecast, plan, and budget to meet business needs.
  • Maintain the interior and exterior upkeep of the building.
  • 1 to 3 years of previous Store Manager experience in a luxury retail service environment.
  • Current knowledge of fashion trends and competition in the marketplace.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience using retail systems (labor management, inventory systems, sales reporting).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team.
  • Mobility to maneuver the sales floor and stock room.
  • Ability to frequently lift and carry up to five pounds and at times lift and carry product/cartons up to fifty pounds.
