About The Position

Bassett Furniture is seeking a Store Manager who will play a crucial role in fostering relationships between our Design Consultants and customers. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented, with a passion for driving sales and collaborating with their team on design projects. Applicants should be prepared to discuss their leadership, service, design, sales, and operational skills that have contributed to the development of cohesive, successful, and profitable teams.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years retail experience, preferably in home furnishings
• Preferably 2 years design experience, or an interior design degree
• Skilled at leading, motivating, and managing a sales/design team
• Ability to train, develop, and coach in sales, product, and design
• Ability to establish, develop, and maintain customer relationships
• Ability to interpret profit/loss statements, KPI metrics, and general sales reports
• Ability to manage daily operations of a store while achieving monthly sales and gross profit goals
• Passion for design, positive attitude, and professionalism is a must
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays
