The Store Manager serves as the face of ACE Cash Express to our customers. On top of providing customer service and facilitating sales, you will also build professional relationships with customers, and gain in-depth knowledge of our lending (where applicable), check cashing and card services.   • Understanding customers' unique needs and recommending appropriate ACE products and services.
  • Supporting Sales Associates and guiding them toward success in their roles.
  • Prioritizing active listening, clear communication, and empathy in all customer interactions.
  • Managing operations and driving overall store performance, which may include cash handling, check cashing, lending, bill pay, and card services, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Prioritizing accuracy, confidentiality, and strict compliance with industry regulations and safety guidelines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two or more years of retail experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is welcomed in most of our markets.
  • Ability to exchange U.S. currency in any denomination required.
  • Experience in a sales environment required.
  • Experience in retail, hospitality, or restaurant industry or similar experience required.
  • Knowledge of basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all unit measures using whole numbers, percentages, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Excellent people skills (i.e., communication, conflict resolution, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently in a solitary environment, with little to no supervision.
  • Ability to multi-task while still adhering to our customer service expectations.

  • High attention to detail, with strong organizational skills.
