About The Position

The Store Manager is responsible for aligning decisions with organizational objectives and values, endorsing and developing the team to meet Coach's Selling and Service expectations. This role involves managing sales strategies and initiatives across all categories, flexing store business strategies, and maximizing the floor supervisor role to achieve strong metrics. The Store Manager sets and communicates sales/productivity goals, tracks performance, and drives business through clienteling and maintaining productive customer relationships. The position also requires understanding local market changes and executing local sales strategies, while acting as a brand ambassador and personal fashion advisor.

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of previous Store Manager experience in a luxury retail service environment.
  • Current knowledge of fashion trends and competition in the marketplace.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Experience using retail systems (i.e. labor management, inventory systems, sales reporting).

  • Endorse, model, and develop team to deliver Coach's Selling and Service expectations.
  • Manage sales strategies, initiatives, and growth across all categories.
  • Flex store business strategies and personal selling techniques to contribute to overall store and financial results.
  • Maximize floor supervisor role to deliver strong metrics and results driven through team selling.
  • Set and communicate sales/productivity goals for the team, track store's performance, and achieve sales through team.
  • Hold the management team accountable for floor supervisor productivity and personal productivity.
  • Take ownership and commitment for delivering results; actively aware of personal and store metrics.
  • Drive business through sales strategies, clienteling, and sourcing new customers.
  • Develop a clienteling strategy in partnership with the District Manager.
  • Understand changes in local market and support execution of local sales strategies.
  • Build credibility and trust as a personal fashion advisor.
  • Create positive impressions with store team and customers.
  • Act as a brand ambassador in the local market to drive brand loyalty.
  • Coach team on incorporating trends into their selling experience.
  • Influence customer's purchase decisions by balancing patience and assertiveness.
  • Resolve customer problems and meet customer needs in a timely manner.
  • Encourage team to build long-term relationships with customers.
  • Develop self and individual product knowledge skills.
  • Protect and drive the needs of the business.
  • Understand the positive sales impact staffing has on the business.
  • Coach, develop, and motivate the team to meet goals.
  • Ensure all daily tasks are completed without negatively impacting service.
