About The Position

OXXO USA is seeking an energetic and experienced Retail Store Manager with Food Service to lead one of their high-performing retail locations featuring Sbarro, a beloved brand known for its NY style pizza. As the Store Manager with Food Service, you will oversee the preparation, quality, and presentation of freshly made Doña Tota products. You’ll lead your team in delivering warm, friendly service and consistently delicious food to customers—blending OXXO USA’s convenience excellence with Sbarro—bringing flavorful meals to customers every day.

Requirements

  • Two (2) or more years of experience working in a food service or retail food environment (required).
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and valid vehicle insurance (required).
  • Schedule flexibility is essential; managers are expected to work peak business hours, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift and move products, stay active on your feet, and manage store logistics.
  • Skilled in inventory management, staff development, and customer engagement.
  • Clear and professional communication skills (verbal, written, and digital).
  • Oversee all food safety-related activities (preparation, handling, and storage) to meet regulatory and brand requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all food service policies, certifications, and company guidelines.
  • Model and teach proper customer service and suggestive selling techniques.
  • Communicate sales and profitability goals to store associates and provide regular feedback.
  • Responsible for meeting and exceeding store budget and sales targets.
  • Maintain open communication and availability for store operations.
  • Support continuous training and development of store employees in alignment with corporate policies and procedures.
  • Oversee product deliveries, organization, and stocking to maintain store readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a food service location that features in-store preparation and cooking of Sbarro products, ensuring freshness and consistency throughout the day.
  • Uphold and promote Sbarro's food craftsmanship, ensuring all items are freshly made, properly handled, and served with care.
  • Monitor and manage food prep areas, maintaining cleanliness, organization, and adherence to food safety and health regulations.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor employees with an emphasis on high-quality food service, Sbarro preparation methods, and customer engagement.
  • Maximize store profitability through effective inventory control, food waste management, and labor optimization while achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Create a welcoming store environment by maintaining clean and inviting dining and food service areas, reinforcing both OXXO USA’s and Sbarro brand standards.
  • Foster a team culture focused on reliability, attention to detail, and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage employee schedules, ensuring appropriate staffing during peak hours, and lead by example during busy periods.
  • Ensure compliance with local health regulations and Sbarro's food handling guidelines, including freshness standards and temperature control.
  • Serve as the primary contact for customer feedback, product inquiries, and food service quality issues.
