About The Position

A Dollar Tree Store Manager drives store profitability, leads team development, and manages daily operations, including inventory, merchandising, and customer service. They are responsible for implementing corporate merchandising direction, ensuring compliance with safety policies, and fostering a positive, high-energy environment in a fast-paced retail setting. Dollar Tree +2 Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership: Manage daily opening/closing procedures, inventory, stock replenishment, and security. Merchandising & Sales: Implement corporate merchandising, maintain high signage/display standards, and boost store profit. Team Management: Recruit, hire, train, and develop store associates to create a service-focused culture. Customer Experience: Deliver a positive, safe, and clean shopping environment for customers. Administrative Tasks: Handle payroll, scheduling, and cash management. Dollar Tree +2 Typical Weekly Routine Store Managers commonly handle administrative tasks (scheduling, ordering) on "office days," while spending other days on stocking, merchandising, reviewing store inventory (red zone), and leading the team on the sales floor. Requirements

  • Previous retail management experience is generally required.
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
