About The Position

The Store Manager at Batteries Plus is responsible for overseeing the store's operations, leading retail and commercial sales activities to achieve sales goals, and fostering team growth through effective training and communication. This role is pivotal in contributing to the overall success of the store and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Minimum H.S. diploma or equivalent; advanced degree in business or retail management preferred.
  • 3-5 years of retail management experience, preferably in a durable goods setting.
  • Experience in commercial (outside) sales.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage confrontational situations effectively.
  • Strong technical aptitude with a basic understanding of electronics.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including peak seasons and special events.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the battery or light bulb industry.
  • Previous experience managing multiple store locations.
