About The Position
As a Store Manager at CEFCO Convenience Stores, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of the store. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the store runs smoothly and efficiently, focusing on maximizing profits while controlling expenses. This includes managing labor costs, inventory levels, and addressing any cash or inventory shortages that may arise. In addition to operational management, you will take on the role of a merchandiser extraordinaire. This means that you will ensure that shelves are stocked attractively, products are priced correctly, and displays are safe and appealing to customers. Your keen eye for detail will help create an inviting shopping environment that encourages customer engagement and satisfaction. A significant part of your role will involve human resource management. You will be tasked with recruiting, hiring, and training all store personnel, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Motivating and encouraging your team will be essential, as you will need to challenge them to perform at their best. Providing coaching and development opportunities will be crucial in preparing team members for future career advancements within the company.
