About The Position

We are seeking a Store Manager to become an integral part of our team! You will supervise and direct staff, ensure customer satisfaction and product quality, and manage safety and security within the store. Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Business Administrations or related field preferred or High school degree/GED in combination with three years management experience in related field.
  • Prefer profit and loss, sales, or cost management accountability experience.
  • Acceptable criminal background check.
  • Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of personal vehicle insurance.
  • Must have strong interpersonal, communication, money-handling, organizational, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

  • Make quality tactical decisions regarding the day to day running of the store operation.
  • Focus managerial attention on staffing needs, training store employees, and administrative tasks.
  • Ensure that all store team members and/or persons served are properly trained, supervised, coached and evaluated.
  • Open to and supportive of new ideas and process improvement of systems and procedures.
  • Effectively oversee collections to ensure proper processing and separation of incoming donations, outlet merchandise, salvage goods if applicable, and waste.
  • Ensure timely ordering of supplies.
  • Ensure that production goals are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Ensure maximum sales performance through proper stock rotation, display, signage, and inventory levels.
  • Ensure that the store consistently meets or exceeds budgeted sales goals.
  • Act as a servant leader and a positive role model to store team members and demonstrate ability to positively mentor, train and assist other managers where needed.
  • Develop proficiency in understanding financial reports.
  • Ensure effective and efficient store budget management including maintaining position control, achieving processing goals, generating revenue, and controlling expenses.
  • Ensure proper handling of cash through enforcement of cash register procedures and accurate and timely submission of proper reports.
