About The Position

The position involves educating the sales team on the store sales plan, personal sales goals, and store statistics while motivating the team to achieve these goals. The candidate will consistently achieve and exceed total store goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) as determined by the Company. They will partner with the corporate team to build relationships and events to drive traffic and sales, identify business trends, and react quickly to the needs of the business. The role requires creating a customer service-focused environment by consistently exhibiting best practices in customer service, sales generation, and customer outreach. The candidate will demonstrate sales leadership by actively participating on the sales floor and developing and maintaining store clienteling processes and standards, ensuring associate participation and compliance. They will also develop a strong knowledge of the Company history, brand aesthetic, philosophy, and lifestyle to assist with sale generation, as well as a strong knowledge of Company products to effectively communicate this information to customers. The candidate will ensure that the sales floor meets Company standards regarding merchandising, visual presentation, and housekeeping, while directing and supervising the daily activities of the management, sales, and stock team. They will provide recognition to team members for exceptional performance, offer ongoing constructive feedback and coaching, and develop internal talent for future leadership roles. Additionally, the candidate will manage all operational processes related to merchandise management, security, loss prevention, and facility maintenance, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. They will set standards for maintaining a neat and organized stockroom and communicate with corporate partners regarding product flow into and out of the store, monitor inventory levels, manage inventory audits, and facilitate communication of Company information to associates.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of managerial experience in a customer service focused retail environment.
  • Proven ability to analyze selling reports and identify business trends.
  • Ability to interpret policies and procedures to resolve customer and employee issues.
  • Experience with POS systems, including inventory management functions.
  • Effective management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong computer skills, proficient in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent time management skills.
